Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 24, 2026
Attorney Advertising Notice
This website may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of certain jurisdictions, including New York. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to LawrenceTheLawyer.com (the “Site”), the website of Larry Kalkstein, a Certified Public Accountant and Attorney at Law licensed in New York and Connecticut (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Informational Purposes Only — Not Advice

The content of the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and nothing on the Site should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has been engaged to address your specific situation. Laws and tax rules change frequently and vary by jurisdiction and by individual circumstances.

3. No Attorney–Client or Accountant–Client Relationship

Your use of the Site, and any communication you send through or in connection with the Site — including email to Larry@LawrenceTheLawyer.com or a telephone call — does not create an attorney–client or accountant–client relationship. Such a relationship is formed only when expressly agreed, typically through a signed engagement letter. Until an engagement is established, please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information; unsolicited communications may not be treated as privileged or confidential, and we cannot guarantee that deadlines affecting your matter will be protected.

4. Jurisdictional Limitations

Larry Kalkstein is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and the State of Connecticut, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. The Site is not intended to solicit clients for matters in any jurisdiction where such solicitation would be improper, and no representation is made that the quality of professional services is greater than that of other professionals.

5. Third-Party Websites and the Free Property-Tax Form

The Site links to PropertyTaxAxe.com, a free, do-it-yourself property-tax grievance tool owned and operated by Larry Kalkstein and offered as a complimentary service to the community. Your use of PropertyTaxAxe.com is governed by the terms posted on that site. The tool is provided on an as-is basis, without any guarantee of outcome; filing a property-tax grievance does not ensure a reduction in assessment or taxes. Links to any other third-party websites are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, design, and branding — is the property of Larry Kalkstein and is protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use; any other use requires prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Larry Kalkstein shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any linked website, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any such dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
