Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
LawrenceTheLawyer.com (the “Site”) is the website of Larry Kalkstein, a Certified Public Accountant and Attorney at Law licensed in New York and Connecticut (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is — and is not — collected when you visit the Site, and how any information you choose to share with us is handled.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The Site is a simple, informational website. We do not require or offer user accounts, and the Site contains no contact forms, sign-up forms, or comment features. We do not set cookies, and we do not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or similar technologies. We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information — because we do not collect any through your ordinary browsing of the Site.
3. Hosting and Server Logs
The Site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google LLC. Like most web hosts, Google may automatically log basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and operational purposes, and retains such logs for a limited period. This logging is performed by Google as our hosting provider; we do not use it to identify visitors. You can learn more in Google’s privacy documentation at policies.google.com/privacy.
The Site’s typefaces are self-hosted and served from our own domain, so no font files or other page resources are requested from third-party servers when you browse the Site.
4. Information You Choose to Send Us
The only personal information we receive through the Site is information you choose to send — for example, if you email Larry at Larry@LawrenceTheLawyer.com or call the number listed on the Site. If you contact us, we will receive the information you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message) and will use it solely to respond to you and, if you become a client, to provide professional services. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Please note: contacting us by email or phone does not create an attorney–client or accountant–client relationship. Until such a relationship is formally established, please do not send confidential or sensitive information. See our Terms & Conditions for details.
5. Links to Other Websites
The Site links to PropertyTaxAxe.com, a free do-it-yourself property-tax grievance tool that is also owned and operated by Larry Kalkstein. PropertyTaxAxe.com is a separate website and is governed by its own privacy practices; any information you submit there is handled under that site’s terms. The Site may also link to other third-party websites (such as Google’s policy pages referenced above); we are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we do not operate.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience of adults seeking professional tax, accounting, and legal services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data Security
Because the Site collects no visitor data itself, the primary information we hold about you is any correspondence you send us. We take reasonable measures to protect that correspondence, and information relating to clients is additionally protected by applicable professional confidentiality obligations.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
